I am a member at DW Fitness (Ipswich Branch)
I like to use the GYM (40-50 Mins) Swim (30 Mins)
Do you guys think most GYM Will have 1 hour time slots or can we Just turn up?
Will many of you guys go back or wait a bit?

I have been told all Equipment will be in use (Covid-19 Secure and spaced out) Pool will be open but no time slot yet (Not announced)

Who knows, it depends how busy they are and how much space they have for distancing. The gym I use are planning on making bookings to begin with and see how it goes from there.

All well and good gettint people to book slots to enter a gym but good luck enforcing a time limit on cardio and weights equipment once people are into it.

I think to begin with it will be fine, most people will stick to the times but give it a few weeks and they won't.

Have you contacted them or commented on their social media to find out? Get a better answer from them than us :)

I’ve seen some national chains respond to similar questions stating they expect to have capacity as normal but different companies may be different

If they have any sense they will limit it to begin with and then see how it goes.

Wonder if Covid-19 will finally make gym dudes rack up their weights and not just leave them by the bench!!!

Or maybe the weights need to be disinfected between use?   Though they're now saying the risk of getting Covid-19 from surfaces has been over-stated.
