AirBnB - help please????

Hello,
I have an AirBnB scheduled for Aug 3-15 and my flights have been cancelled (refunded which is great!!) but I am having trouble with AirBnB....
My host has offered me a full refund for my £900 deposit but I am due a final payment of £750 on 19th Aug.
Airbnb are rubbish at getting back - obviously they are very busy with cases similar to mine.
I have had it escalated 3 times  to the 'payments and refund' team but I have heard nothing back.
My questions is - do I proceed with the final payment and then try to settle in xx weeks / months time or should I just stop the final payment??
Please help - feeling quite sick about this....
