Hello, I dont know if this is the right thread but here i go: I wanted to rent a shop, the potential landlord changed everything we had spoken, and the deal didnt go through. Now he is charging me half of the money his solicitor charged him. We haven't agreed to anything like this.
Does he have any legal rights to do this?
Any answers appreciated

If you agreed to nothing then no, his expenses are his own issue.
