I was pushed to take an EasyJet Voucher. Am I stuck with this, or can I still legally get a refund?

Hey,
My EasyJet flight was cancelled and so I clicked on their link and was offered only a voucher OR a reschedule.  No where did it mention a cash refund.  I opted for the voucher thinking that was my only option.  My wife then later asked about the refund and told me that legally they have to offer a cash refund.  When I called them to get a refund they told me that I already took a voucher so I'm unable to get a cash refund.

Is this true? Am I now stuck with this voucher?

Cheers

They do offer a cash refund on their website but naturally try to steer you away from it, so you have to be persistent to navigate all the way to it rather than taking the more prominent options.  Having already accepted a voucher then yes, it would be difficult to change your mind now, as you're effectively looking to cash in a voucher and its terms are unlikely to allow that....

Yes it did mention a refund, you just had to click the more options link at the bottom then follow it through to a refund form. It wasn't made obvious but was clear enough if you read the information on each page.
