My contract is coming up for renewal. Do I need to pay for the TV even though I have a TV?

A bit of a muddled question.
Are you saying you want to drop the TV part of the package as you are only going to watch Freeview or something on a TV but don't want sky TV , BT TV or virgin TV ?

Yeah. I have a Samsung smart TV which has Freeview and Freesat built in.

Really depends upon what you want to watch .Check what's on your TV package especially the channels that are not free to air .0
