So energy

I had a terrible time with them. Worst experience ever with an energy provider. They did not update my bills for year even though they said in their contract they reviewed them every six months. When they tried to hard ball me into paying a huge four-figure bill, I couldn't reason with their awful customer services team so I set up moving provider twice, but they stopped me each time in breach of their regulatory obligations to let me moving. Even when they lost the complaint with the Ombudsman rather than letting me move they appealed, on awful grounds that made no sense, and lost the appeal. They seemed fine when everything was going well, but when they messed up they suddenly turn into a complete nightmare.0

My Switch fro British Gas to Soenergy went so wrong! The electric was done before the 31 of March, before the end of my contract with British Gas, but the Gas wasn’t switched until the 1st May. This has caused me a massive bill with BG. Soenergy offered £30.00 compensation but it’s nothing compared to the amount I have been charged by BG for just 1 month consumption!
what can I do?0 -
But have you actually paid £30 more than if you had been switched on time? After all, So Energy wouldn't have given you a month's free gas if you had switched on time.Cavallomarino said:My Switch fro British Gas to Soenergy went so wrong! If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
Switched to So last October. My smart meter stopped working, as expected, but started again in April. Otherwise no problems at all.0
