BLP warranty

I have been looking at a house that I am interested in moving forward with. However, it comes with a BLP warranty instead of NHBC. I have been reading up on this, but as a first-time buyer I have probably missed something that I should know.

Are both of these warranties identical? Has anyone bought a house with a BLP warranty and had any issues?

Any insight, big or small, will be very welcome

    I'm purchasing a new build with a BLP warranty and am not seeing it as any different to NHBC or similar
    I've been stung by the whole CRL/Alpha collapse on my other property but these are underwritten by Allianz which will be less likely to go the same way.
