wage discrepancy

Options
I am due to be made redundant soon and got a one to one meeting week after next. on checking my wages to try and work out my redundancy figures i realised i was been underpaid on checking with HR they admitted they had not increased my pay correctly when we had a pay rise  they owed me  £720 .  This was paid last month.  would i be able in my one to one meeting to ask for some sort of compensation due to loss of interest loss of pension payments and any other losses i may have occured.

You can ask, but why have you not asked HR? How long a period was this for as interest on £720 for two months for example is not a lot, same for pension contributions.

It will amount to less than a quid...
Would you really ask for compensation cos you lost less than a quid.

make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

how do you get to the figure of a quid  ?
my pension contribution is 4%  and companys 8%  so if they have not paid in contributions on the missing wage it must amount to more than a quid.

Did they not calculate pension contributions on the extra £720 when it was paid to you last month?

£86 is approx 12% of £720, so that's probably your 4% and their 8% pension contributions on the £720 they owed you. If that's the case you haven't lost out at all.
