Virgin Mobile - Delinquent Account for missing final payment ?

Just found out about this today and in a bit of shock due to it being so near to moving home ( well applying to borrow more money) !

I checked my equifax report today to my surprise found a "Delinquent" account from Virgin mobile.

This account ran from 2012 - 2015 , which i then rang up to cancel/close due to me moving provider.

It doesn't look like this account has defaulted but more like its 6 months past due every month ( Since 2016 apparently , no information at all before this).

The balance in question is £14 , i have never received any contact regarding this and just assumed my account was closed successfully.

I rang virgin which was a little confusing, but they said the account is now settled ( despite me not paying ?) and it will show on my record, i am assuming this wont remove all the late payment markers since 2016.

My online account for virgin shows a 0 balance and i cant see no bills ( possibly due to it being 5 years ago ?)

I have contacted virgin via their credit email address

I have also submitted a dispute via equilfax

The account ran from 2012-2015 with 0 late payments.

Is there anything else i can do to resolve this ?

Thankfully this has now been sorted by Virgin Media, Pretty quick might i add.
