Alloy Wheel Insurance

We have an alloy wheel insurance policy for our car which is separate to our car insurance. If we made a claim on the alloy insurance does that count as a claim when coming to renew the car insurance when they ask about any claims or accidents?

You need to honestly answer any questions they ask at renewal time, or provide any information that they ask you to provide.  Many insurers ask for details of all accidents, whether or not you made a claim.
Failing to discolse information that they have asked for could result in them cancelling the policy.
    If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.
