  • do you have any family who could help. Other than that remortgage? wait 6 months so you could maybe have saved some more say £3000 then your £2000 from the policy willbe good.
    Make £11,000 in 2011 / ebay £600

Nope, in rented accomodation, and cant afford any extra payments hence trying to cash-in on policys etc. If push comes to shove we'll hve to cash-in my policy and extend one of our loans to pay for the rest.
  • good luck with whatever you decide to do

I really hope it works for you. I know it's not ideal to borrow money, but it's not something you can put a price on as far as I'm concerned. Just please try to make sure you aren't over-stretching yourselves, as giving yourselves extra stress is NOT what you need.

    All the best, Snaggles xxx

  • No suggestions but just a note to say good luck....I know it's easier to say than do, but please try to ensure you are as stress free as possible before you start treatment...(something I'm struggling to do before starting IVF)

It's a shame that people who need these treatments have to go through so much stress trying to fund it/get on waiting lists/vetting for it..............(I won't rant here about that though!!)

Good Luck - hope you find your solution

  • Hi hun, it may not be for you but have you thought of egg sharing? For anyone going down the ivf route this can significantly reduce the costs involved.
Again it might not be for you, but it may be worth looking into.
