Fast cash needed.....

Hi There, my hubby and me need some fast csh to pay for some medical treatment - cant get it on nhs. Do any of you know if we can sell on my AXA sun life insurance policy which does not mature until 2015 or if it can have a loan taken out against some of it.
Or
Can we cash in some of his prudential pension, which we've not paid into for over 7 years but appears to have at least £8000 in it?
We need about £5000 but have too much outgoing to consolidate or take out another loan.

is the medical treatment time critical? If it is and you can't get it on the nhs, have you thought about getting it in say France as it might be cheaper?

Don't know about the policy/pension. Though with the policy I think that if you do try and sell it that it is worth looking at the investments board on here as they might be able to help as well?
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
  • What kind of treatment is it if you can't get it on the nhs?? I thought thet covered everything that was important!

I cashed in my AXA policy for next to nothing and struggled to find companies to buy it, worst value for money policy I have ever took out. How long has it acutally been running?

Yip, but my work will pay for that kind of time off!!:j
  • Since 2000, I got a settlement figure but is less than half of what we need, I hoped that i'd bea able to borrow on the maturity figure and still get some cash at the end of it in 2015, no doubt i'd need it then!!
