Cosmetic car insurance for minor scratches/dents help

Hi everyone, I hope you are well.
I've recently bought a brand new car on a 4 year PCP and when I traded in my last vehicle it managed to get 2 scratches on it's bonnet, a supermarket trolley scrape on its rear end and a nice little ding in my drivers door in less than 18 months, due to dishonest and inconsiderate (blanks)
I was reading up about cosmetic car insurance which can be taken out additionally alongside your car insurance, but seem to be having trouble finding/locating insurance companies that do it, so could anyone please recommend anyone that are any good?
There doesn't seem to be anywhere you can do it on comparison sites, so could someone please help and advise as definitely worth taking it out, I think, especially when after the 4 year PCP ends and you want to hand it back to a dealership without being penalized.
Many thanks for all your help?

It'll almost certainly work out more expensive than simply paying to have the issues rectified.

    I doubt it.
For an average of about £200 a year per policy and up to 3 callouts per year I would have thought paying outright would be alot more expensive

Just before end of the PCP take it for a valet and polish.  It will hide a multitude of sins,

I appreciate that may be a good idea, but that doesn't stop some d*ckhead damaging your car and having to look at it every day does it?
That's why I kindly asked for recommendations for any insurance companies

Depends whether the service is used and more importantly whether the issues are included, amazingly many warranties exclude most things that could go wrong.....

Are you planning on defrauding the insurer by claiming for damage prior to the inception of the policy?

    What planet are you on?
What a total !!!!!! you are.
NO, I wanted to genuinely take out a policy to cover for potential damage, i.e if some prat decided to key my car for example so I have insurance to cover it should the inevitable happen.

Take the motor to a detailer for paint correction as and when. You dont need insurance for this so don't get it. That's the recommendation.

On a 4yr PCP, you'd seriously expect to pay out £800 in damage above fair wear and tear...?

And that's assuming £0 excess on those claims.

Not when you factor in any excess per event which will be conveniently set to what it would cost the insurers to get a mobile paint repair or dent removal specialist out to do a minor scratch or supermarket ding. A car park car door ding or supermarket trolley ding is likely to be an £80-£100 repair.  This company charge just £75+VAT for a dent the size of a tennis ball, the lowest they charge is £55+VAT.  Another company I found start at £55 but if you have multiple panels done at the same time the prices drop so the second panels start at £40. There's lots of competition in the mobile dent and paint repair sector.
It's the same with pet insurance, the excesses are set at a level which means that the vast majority of visits to the vet end up being within the excess so you end up paying for it anyway.
