Afternoon everyone
Not a lot to say other than I've just eaten the most delicious strawberry tart!
I've been down to mam and dads this morning with little grand daughter - she had a lovely potter about. It's a nice day so we'll have a play in the garden when she wakes up from her nap.
Hope everyone has a good day11 -
Afternoon everybody,
Newroadahead..,...sorry to hear of the loss of your sister........I only have a brother who is right years younger than me and I can't even imagine how I would feel if anything happened to him.
Gers......glad to hear that your DM is improving and that you have been having such a social time at home.
Yesterday was a lovely sunny day and today is less sunny, but very pleasant.
TA......sorry that you have had bad news about your brother.
Ruby......should you really be pushing the lawn mower?
Nanny.......I used to have tremendous rows with my late father but they always blew over quickly.......in fact I haven't had a decent row since he died in 1994!!
Have a good day and stay safe

NRA, I'm so sorry for your loss.
TA, I'm also sorry to hear that you have had bad news about your brother.
Gers, good news at last, I hope your mum continues to improve.
Our run of household problems is continuing. When we had the ensuite bathroom refurbed here the toilet was removed to put new flooring down and the plumber got his apprentice to replace it Unfortunately it transpires that he didn't tighten the inlet pipe properly and it has been leaking. We think it must have got worse recently because Laura and Brian didn't notice anything but when we got here the Study ceiling and walls are very badly marked with damp and mould. Obviously it will be the plumbers responsibility but it's the hassle of sorting it all.
In other news we had a lovely circular walk between Airton and Malham and are about to watch the grand prix.13 -
MeanMarie this was a first for me and I've never felt such anger before. I have no idea where that came from but I hope I never have it again, it was so out of character. I'm so sorry I believe I missed your 50th wedding anniversary. Hope you had a great day.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

NAN - well done you! I bet that the blow out was a long time coming. On the way back to Glasgow I called in to see the lovely CAMELOT - sat in her immaculate garden drinking coffee and chatting. Such a nice diversion.Earlier this morning I was given a sort-of haircut by a neighbour enough taken off to stop me looking like a grey wild woman. She was very brave! Then I found out that the the Scottish government are allowing one designated hospital visitor per patient from tomorrow. That's such a huge relief. I had to ring the ward and select a time slot, someone will ring me in the morning to confirm the time. It'll be a huge relief to see DM, so much worry has laden me down simply because of the visiting restrictions.10

GERS good news re the revised hospital visiting. It will be so much better seeing your DM face to face.
MEANMARIE I'm another who seems to have missed your anniversary as well. Hope you had a lovely day."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"6 -
Thanks for the good wishes for our 50th.........wasn't the party it would have been in other times, but five of my seven were here and eight of my nine grandchildren, so it was a good day........fifty years go so quickly!
Hugs to all, stay safe.
