Well done ladysummerisle.  Thanks the the tip but actually I am just in the process of starting up a little sideline business.  Aiming to launch beginning of May.  That will probably take up most of my spare time and energy.  

Anyway.....after 4 months of not making any overpayments I'm back in the game, made an overpayment this week of £200.  Principal now standing at £39,948.78. 😁.  

Feels good to have cracked the £40k barrier.  Onwards and downwards.

Well I have launched my first little money making enterprise.  🤞.   Not made any money yet though but I'm hopeful. 😉.  Any spare earnings will be thrown at the mortgage.  

In the meantime I will just make my usual £200 overpayment as usual.
