Loveholidays not answering

Asking for a relative whose son is booked to go with friends to Magaluf on Wednesday. Trip advisor is saying the hotel BH Mallorca in Magaluf is closed. Loveholidays is proving impossible to contact. Has anyone any suggestions? Tried phoning the hotel directly and there is no reply. Relative getting anxious.

The hotel does have a Chat facility and from this it does look closed. Loveholidays may be easier to contact via their online chat facility although this is very time consuming as in a very long queue. Will need all booking info to hand. Sorry not more helpful.

What's happening with his flights - has he checked if they have been cancelled or not? If they have, he needs to go onto the Loveholidays manage my booking option and then wait for them to contact him.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Just found this on the website
"We don’t want you to worry about your reservation and for this reason, all reservations made with us via our webpage with an arrival date from 01.07.20 to 15.07.20 may be modified without additional costs for any date from 16.07.20."
Which implies they may be reopening next week.
Has he tried contacting the hotel directly?

As far as I know there has been no contact from love hol about anything. It’s just that the hotel was said to be closed on trip advisor

think you have to keep trying, friend of mine spent most of every day for a week either on online chat or on hold on the phone to love holidays before he sorted his a couple of weeks ago , Love holidays were useless as he kept getting told something different each time he got through,

Very worrying for people. Just read in news today about number of holiday makers arriving to find hotels closed. Not a good holiday company then. This is his first holiday abroad with friends and his parents are very anxious.

Sorry it's the Daily Fail, but it seems Love Holidays have form.
Maybe time for your son to have a good look at his travel insurance and speak to his credit card company (assuming he used one).

It's my nephew but thanks I've passed it on. It's a group booking so that complicates things. If it was me I'd be going for a refund and booking later in the year. if that is an option. Unfortunately you still need to be able to speak to someone!
