Hi,
I have a standard home insurance that covers finding water leaks.
I have a water leak underneath the suspended laminated floor.
Will the insurer cover the cost of lifting the laminated floor, remove the suspended floor planks, find repair the leak and put the laminated floor back?
What if the laminated floor cannot be lifted and need to fit new laminated floor?
Many thanks

Of course they should do all that. Why not just ask them as you're going to be phoning them
anyway ???0 -
You should read your insurance policy before contacting your insurer. The type of cover you're looking for is often called 'Trace and Access'. And make sure your policy covers reinstatement as well.
If you phone your insurer and find it's not covered, it may be recorded as a 'loss incident' anyway, which could increase your future premiums - even though you can't make a claim.
Here's a bit of info about 'Trace and Access' cover: https://www.comparethemarket.com/home-insurance/content/what-is-trace-and-access-insurance-cover/
Edit to add...
FWIW, 'Trace and Access' cover would typically cover the cost of removing parts of the 'insured building' to find a leak, but it won't cover the cost of repairing the leak.
And if, for example, you find pipework that is badly corroded, and more of the floor needs ripping up to replace the pipework - the insurer won't cover the cost of that either.0
