I sold an item on eBay yesterday and looked last night to see it said “payment initiated”.
any ideas?

Have you checked your Paypal account, it could be an echeque.1

It doesn’t say anything about an E cheque.

on eBay that might mean that the receiving PayPal email address was wrong , but obviously if the transaction shows in PayPal that cannot be the case.

Yes PayPal shows a name and address.
It’s £8 so not a large amount.

I googled and got thisGo to your ebay listing and start to relist it, you can scroll down and double check your email on the listing there.Re: Payment initiatedIt means the email address on your listing wasn't the email address you have on your PayPal account.1

My buyer responded by saying she must have pressed the wrong payment method (?).
I’ve been on the PayPal site and had an automated voice response to say payment will be cleared by the 17th.
