ZZP PARKING

Options
Hello People..
Really need help..I feel Im drowing and although people may think this situation was brought on by ineptitude..I really dont feel that either myself or my colleagues deserve this..
Last year my trust  appointed an agent to manage the car parks around the Hospital were I work. Myself and several colleagues parked in an area where we needed / allowed  to double park... (We pay for parking from salary.)...This was a historical practice...decades old ..the trust had even devised a set of rules for parking in this area, displayed on a sign .
When the agents took over they began to ticket in this area heavily to this end I recieved 10 tickets within a short space of time..many of my colleagues revieving the same..We explained the historical parking arrangements..but no notice was taken.. by the one and only  warden employed.
When discussed with the trust the did not support us and actually., had the crossed hatched the area. and removed signs
We never appealed the tickets as we actually thought we were in the right  and after a while.no more letters were recieved However since lockdown has eased , we have discovered our fines have been sold to a  relentless  debt recovery agency.. Today I have recieved 17 letters  ..They call at home..and also on the wards while at work and our mobiles..we are unsure how they have these personal details.
The fines have increase to £110 each and they have told us they have  instructed solicitors and coutt action is pending
We are a group of nurses , if we have crimal records we will not pass DBS checks and therforr be unable to continu Nursing .
We don't have that kind of money.. does anyone ..Some of my colleagues are thinking of taking loans out to pay ..as the stress of the situationis  is becoming unbearable
The trust are not interested offering no support.
We are feeling scared at this point.
I havent put the names of the companies involved  but they are well known to this forum and their reputations is questionable.
Many thanks inadvance for any help..even if it just gives us breathing space..

    Who is the parking company?

    Which hospital?

You will never ever get a criminal record. These are civil matters, not criminal.

There are at least 200 companies well known to this forum, all of whom have questionable reputations. Please tell us who the actual parking firm is.  There's no big deal.  'ZZP' are not a parking firm, they are debt collectors.
We are a group of nurses , if we have crimal records we will not pass DBS checks and therforr be unable to continu Nursing .
Over fertile imagination. Unless you set the PPC on fire there's nothing 'criminal' here. Contract law, even if the PPC manages to get over that bar, is not and will not be a 'criminal' issue.

Nah, try again!  Post a photo of the first letter in the series you've received.

There is no such parking company with access to DVLA keeper records.

    Nobody has received a fine.

Get your Union rep involved. They should have been all over this like a rash before the scammers were employed.
Get the hospital trust CEO/head honcho involved.

All of you should complain to the above and your MPs and to Boris who said about six months ago that he was going to stop this sort of thing.

    Contact local and national press.

Threaten to quit. Drastic I know but it is disgusting behaviour by the hospital and the government that allows this, and makes money from it.

So there it is, writ large, in the first line of the letter. Spotted it instantly, despite having to stand on my head to read it! 😆

Imperial Civil Enforcement Solutions Ltd (Trading As Open Parking)

IPC AOS operator.  Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, fourth post, about dealing with debt collectors and their letters. ZZPS (note the 'S' in the title) are debt collectors, not a private parking firm!

Imperial Civil Enforcement Solutions Ltd (Trading As Open Parking)

    An IPC AOS member.

No mention of ZZP on that letter - at least, I couldn't see it whilst standing on my head to read it.

Imperial Civil Enforcement Solutions, trading as Open Parking.

IPC scammers, but not one we see very often on here.

    Edit,

I'm late to the party again.

Get on with the complaints and ignore anything from ZZPS. Do not ignore a LBA/LBC

Don't hang about. Get ahead of any court claim.

Complain to the parking firm, then the IPC and the DVLA and threaten the press.

During COVID, this needs exposing.  You have described that the staff had a right (by sign) and easement (by prescription over the years) to park as you did. Make sure other colleagues are sent here to read this thread.

None of you will be paying and as long as none of you ignore a court claim - and none of you have your cars registered to an old address and are ot seeing the letters - no-one will even get a CCJ (let alone a criminal record - who gave you that idea?).

It's only a private invoice x 17, and would be easy to beat in court but you need to be spared that bother (court is only a bother/waste of time v a parking firm - nothing scary).

    How about telling Piers Morgan...

Seriously, same advice as this page:

zhonguonuren will be interested in this one, I expect.
