Choosing a Duvet

Treating ourselves to new bedding. Rather than a cheap duvet we're looking at getting a decent one.
There are some must not's.....
Can't be Feather. It sets my asthma off.
Can't be Polyester as I will simply sweat lots.
So far all I've come up with is the John Lewis Synthetic active anti allergy duvet.
Happy to spend £100, maybe a bit more for a good duvet.
Are the wool ones any good?
Thoughts welcome

We've had a wool duvet for a few years and love it. We got it for similar reasons to you, my wife's asthma is set off by feathers and we didn't want a polyester duvet. Can't remember how much we paid, but it was worth it."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0

Yes, get a wool duvet. They are expensive but worth it. We've had one for around 3 years now. Look on the Old Style board.0

I got a wool mattress and only then discovered I was allergic to that! Never had any alergies before. Had to return the mattress.(just saying just in case....)1
