Where to buy a good quality sofa from?

Been needing to get a new sofa for the house around 260ish by max 260ish (can be smaller) in leather but ideally under 2500 after discounts.
Initially thought of dfs and sofology but saw lots of negative posts on MSE about them so wondered what places people have gotten good quality leather sofas from that don't cost the earth?
Or maybe I need to up my budget?
Thanks!

IIRC, my leather sofabed from IKEA was c. £2K 20 years ago. Made in Italy and still doing well.

I'd have a look in John Lewis. I would never buy anything from the likes of DFS, they have some pretty sharp practices when it comes to selling and the quality isn't that good either.1

My sofas are from Sofology, and they are absolutely fine, very good quality for their price - although admittedly they aren't leather. It would probably still be worth you going into a store and having a look whether there's anything that suits your needs. Unlike DFS I found the sales staff weren't all that pushy (they aren't on commission), so after an initial greeting you'll probably be left alone to browse.0

We are evaluating leather sofas at present. We are torn between John Lewis and Marks and Spencer.0

John Lewis, M&S, Natuzzi, G Plan, Stressless all worth looking at. True leather is expensive.
