Help me please don't know what my rights are
I have only just been made aware that I am on furlough today despite my team leader telling me otherwise for months. My wage slip reflected 80%of pay but it hasn't said furlough on it, just gross pay. I am being told that that it hasn't said furlough on it because i get paid weekly. I was only told I would be on reduced hours and that we would be paid for working 4 times a week the day we worked. I have worked for 5 days a week since March. Including for free on fridays.
I have been given tasks with set deadlines which have required me working up till 10pm sometimes to meet them.
Yesterday another employee mentioned things were going on in the office but that i did not have to come in as i was on furlough which was the first id heard of it, hence why i spoke to my manager today. I've now been sent an email of an alleged letter that went out in March which i have never received notifying me that I'd been furloughed. I've just recently bought a house which has required extensive renovation works. I've had to ask for time off and book holidays in other to meet appointments.
Can someone please advice me of my rights and where I can take this. I'm failing to understand how i've been 'volunteering' for 3 months all this time but had to take paid leave which has come out of my holiday allowance at the same time. I'm seriously considering reporting them for fraud and taking this to ACAS.

If you have the evidence then you should do so.henreeather said:Help me please don't know what my rights are

Hello, first time posting so hope this is ok to ask, but has anyone heard that staff have to pay for their own tests at care homes/care companies? My friends daughter has been told their fortnightly tests will come out of their wages.Thanks0

Report them to HMRC for fraud. There is a link on the website I believe.1

Did you sign and return a letter stating that you agreed to be furloughed? That’s the usual procedure.0

If you did not agree to be furloughed, did you agree to the cut in wages?0

i agreed to that in terms that we'd be working reduced hours, 4 days. nothing about being furloughed and volunteering over 40 hours a week unknown to myselfGrumpy_chap said:If you did not agree to be furloughed, did you agree to the cut in wages?
