My son is in the process of buying a new build house at £360,000.00 with the builder paying the stamp duty of almost £8000. The builder will not pass on this benefit to my son and surely it should be the homebuyer who benefits from the Chancellor’s move not the developer
What does your sons contract/ reservation say about the payment, does it list the amount they where due/ supposed to pay? I think this could be important as to if you can take it further (Im no expert).
