Does anyone know if there's a minimum valuable of a personal possession, when declaring , ornaments, paintings, furniture. Define what's may be judged as a work of art, antique?? Anymore guidance?...... Page 1 relates to jewellery, and you only detail if individual items are valued at £1,500 or more .

I recall seeing £500 mentioned somewhere in a guide( not going looking).
Be sensible add it all up and be ready to justify if HMRC come knocking for a list, only likely to happen if IHT is due.
Can always group stuff if the total number looks too big.
