Clydesdale/Yorkshire rebranding to Virgin Money

That's the legal situation, but the Virgin Money shareholders immediately before the purchase were still shareholders after the purchase, and everything is being rebranded Virgin Money, so it looks like Virgin Money took over CYBG.

CYBG's brands are exceptionally weak whilst, whether you like it or not, Virgin as a brand is very strong and very well recognised world-wide. Given the opportunity it would have been strange if CYBG hadn't rebranded as Virgin.0
