5% tax for leisure atractions and takeaway food

So there is 5% vat on takeaway food but will I actually get cheaper food or will takeaway owners charge the same price as before and take the extra profit as if they cut prices is means printing new menus and changing the prices on menu boards
But as for atractions 5% tax is a good idea to get people going but how many atractions will actually cut prices
