Hmm, the household income is easy enough for me :-) but I can't imagine many here are E, F or G! What is G, a tent?

I only just made it into D as my house was built in 1990 and the EPC assessor said he was obliged to assume it was built to 1990 standard building regs (actually 1985 edition) because he couldn’t see the extras I had added such as underfloor insulation and the extra wide cavities and insulation incorporated despite me demonstrating (measuring) the wall thickness for him.silverwhistle said:Hmm, the household income is easy enough for me :-) but I can't imagine many here are E, F or G! Any update on whether the fuel cell boilers are covered by the scheme (no mention of them) or whether you can have both the green grant and the RHI for heat pump installation?I think....0

The attachment I posted only covered £200m of the £2bn spend so maybe there will be more to come about the vouchers.michaels said:Any update on whether the fuel cell boilers are covered by the scheme (no mention of them) or whether you can have both the green grant and the RHI for heat pump installation?Northern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)1 -
Mine's an F. Well it was in 2017. I've added gch since, will that make an epc worse? 😬
I need to read up on hybrid systems - solar and ashp, can anyone recommend any forums?

They had two tiny storage heaters in the bedrooms and an electric fire in the living room. Built before '67 with solid floors so I'm hoping we haven't improved the house too much to qualify.ABrass said:

I too am wondering if you can get both the Green Grant and the RHI - but I have not been able to find any information.Reed1

I have had one installer say that you get the green grant but it is then subtracted from any rhi payable

I think that previously any grant given has been subtracted from the RHI payments. So it is logical to assume that the same will be true of the new Green Grants. But I cannot find anything specific from the Government that confirms this.Reed0
