Applying for balance transfer while on notice of redundancy but still employed

I have 3 credit card balances currently on 0% interest and want to consolidate them. I have to state my annual income on the form for the new balance transfer card . I am still employed but my employment will end next Wednesday.  Is it fraudulent to give my current salary while knowing it will end soon? I have a healthy bank balance but it is still useful to have the option to pay off debt gradually.

They ask whether you know of any substantial reduction / change in your income as well don't they? They do with new card applications, I know that much.

I didn't see that question but clearly one would be honest if it's there.
  • Who have you applied with?

Have you checked in all the T&Cs, assumptions etc? It can be not a direct question but something  you agree to in all the text everyone blindly hits the agree button against.
  • Nobody yet, I just got as far as checking which 0% transfer deal I would be eligible for.

Even if they don't ask then it would be a risk if you defaulted and they asked for proof of your redundancy as they will likely notice it was days after your application. They might say you misrepresented your salary if you already knew that it was dropping to zero.
