Easy Jet - can I bring flights forward with free of charge changes online?

I'm wondering - can I change our flights and bring them forward by 2 weeks free of charge? We are meant to travel to Portugal on 19th August for 12 day's but with the current rules on quarantine on return - we couldn't do that due to children returning to school and me returning to work, so thinking of bringing the whole holiday forward by 2 weeks to allow for Quarantine on return to the UK, does Easy Jet allow free of charge changes to bring the flights forward does anyone know? I've messaged Easy Jet but not getting a straight answer and don't want to change flights online to see, just in case it cancels them and charges us?? Thanks

you can check your options here https://www.easyjet.com/en/policy/coronavirus/online-support/q0
might be free if the new dates are the same price or cheaper1 -
If FCO advice is against travel you will not have insurance cover.0

You can go into your booking online and go into the change flight option. It will tell you how much you will be charged for a flight change (should say free if over 14 days from your flight date). You can then find flights you want and it will tell you what the price difference is (if any). It doesn't book them without you confirming so you can play around and check to your heart's content. There is no reason I can see why you can't bring them forward.1

Thanks all, I will have a look and a play around now I know it wont change anything without me confirming........ also i booked everything independently and didn't take insurance at the time as thought I would get that later and then the virus struck :-( also don't need to pay final balance on apartment until the day before - so at most here I'm going to lose the money on the flights but if they don't fly then i should get a refund or credit?

Too late for you now, but you must always buy insurance at the time of booking, otherwise you have no cover against events that prevent you travelling. No free lunch, and no free laptop
