Can you claim tax back

Do I read somewhere that you can claim tax back on ppi? Had successful ppi claim on secured loan some time ago and was wondering if I can claim tax back on it also?

    You can reclaim the income tax element if you were under the threshold.

    Or of course, pay more, if you're a higher rate payer.

    And only if the interest was paid in a year after the personal savings allowance was introduced.
