Ford Focus servicing

Hold your "plan" up a bit higher, I can't quite read the small print.0

Brake fluid change is a chargeable "Labour - invoice at additional cost" marked item in a Ford service schedule, it will unlikely be included in a service plan. Same as air con service, cam belts and aux belts.

When I had a focus brake fluid change was recommended and so not a service item.0

It's more expensive than my local Ford dealer who charges £30 if you get it done whilst having a service but yes it does sound right as brake fluid isn't done as part of a normal service with Ford but is a separate item to servicing. You don't need to have it done by Ford and you should be able to get it done for around £30-£35.graham44 said:I have a 2 yr dealer pre-paid servicing plan which covers the cost of all 'manufacturer approved servicing'. The dealer wants to charge me £49 for brake fluid changing. Does that sound right?0 -
