Furlough and annual leave payment calculations

Fascinating idea, but not correct. You can't divide furlough payments by 365 and holiday by 260. A common denominator has to apply, otherwise you get the illogical result you have worked out. If you ignored furlough altogether, by your logic you would substitute 55.91 daily rate for 2166.67/31 = £69.89 to get your rate of pay per day. Your holiday would presumably be paid at this rate. It isn't. It's paid at the rate for your normal working day, £100.

Thanks for your reply. So £90 for 4.5 holidays is correct?0

Yes, because you have already effectively been paid £80 x 4.5 = £360 for them under furlough.0
