home/contents insurance

Hello, my nan has had home and contents insurance for the last 9 years with her bank. She wasn't happy with the new price for the year coming as it was over £1000.
I have rang her bank as she lives on her own and has no valuable i.e laptops to ask why it was so much! I have found out that they have had her postcode incorrect for the full 9 years but her post has always made it to her. Is there anything she can do to reclaim any of the money paid.
She now is paying £150 for a year!

It's down to your nan to check whether she could get a cheaper / better / more suitable policy each year.

It is almost certainly an unadvised sale and so their job is to quote based on the data provided and the buyers job is to decide if its suitable cover, a competitive price etc.
Are they saying the pricing difference is only due to the change of postcode? Sounds like its going to be as much to do with cancelling a renewal and buying as a new customer so not paying the loyalty "tax".

If it was me I would try, but bottom line is that it’s down to your nan to check her post.
