Samsung not replacing fridge

Yes the Samsung engineer did report to Samsung that it’s faulty and couldn’t be repaired.
Going to see Currys tomorrow armed with the Consumer Rights act as it sits firmly with them from what I’ve read. Fingers crossed.1 -

That said, when I chatted to Samsung on Live Chat they were able to give me an "uplift number" which is supposed to tell the retailer that they have deemed the item unrepairable/beyond economic repair and that Samsung are willing to take it back. I wouldn't bother with the phone though as I tried that first and they've implemented a new "reception" service who are only message takers and can do nothing themselves.

Well thanks you for the advice. Just popped into Currys in town with my receipt and both job reports and explained how it’s classed as unrepairable. They made a couple of phone calls to get an uplift number and we have got a new fridge coming next week with free installation for the inconvenience. No stress. Proper customer service.1
