Can I get 30 hours free childcare back

I have a 3 year old that attended private day nursery 30 hours per week (term time only). The nursery was shut until 1st June with most children returning from 1st July. I think the local authorities still received the money/funding to supply the childcare. I dont know if the nursery received the money eo the local authority, equivalent to the 30 hours.
My child now has 4 days left of nursery before the end of summer term. Is there any way that I can get the missed hours back as a 'credit'or extra hours in holiday time. The nursery is open during school holiday dates. If I want my child to attend in holiday time it's currently £55 a day.

Usually the 30hrs funding can be spread over the year so normally can be used during the holidays though you might want to check your contract with the nursery for that incase they don’t allow that.
If the nursery does not allow it then no I don’t believe you are entitled to claim the childcare back. The funding will have covered part staff wages that were furloughed.
Nurseries couldn’t claim the full amount of furlough because of the funding so have actually been operating at a loss over the last few months. It might surprise you to know this but the funding is only around the £4 per hour received from the local authority not even half the amount they have to pay staff hourly as a minimum.
