PCN from London Borough of Redbridge

Hi all, I along with several other cars received a PCN this evening for contravention code 62 ‘Parked with one or more wheels on or over a footpath or any part of a road other than a carriageway’.  We had parked this way previously mainly to help the traffic flow and the footpath was still clear. There are no yellow lines or markings and annoyingly the one car that didn’t park with a two wheel ups didn’t receive a ticket!   Is this one or them occasions when we should have remembered the Highway Code or is there a possibility of contesting? Have a read through some of the other threads there before you post your own to get the hang of what information they need from you in your opening post - but as a minimum you will need to post redacted photos/scans of all correspondence you've received from the council (both sides, if appropriate) as they need to see all the small print.

PePiPoo has an excellent success record in dealing with council tickets.
