Tyre Shopper / National Tyres alignment problem.

I'm so angry.

Had 4 tyres fitted and a alignment by National at the end of Feb. It wasn't cheap either, over £500. (I blame the stupid wheels on my car).
For obvious reasons I've used the car a lot less than usual since, although I am a key worker so it has been used. I'd estimate about 2000 miles in just over 4 months.
I've discovered to my horror the tyres I didn't think I'd have to worry about for months to come are completely ruined, I mean dangerously bad. The pic below is actually the better of the two. They're so unevenly worn that they still look brand new from the side of the car, it was only because I park with a lot of lock on at home I spotted them.
I fired an e-mail off to Tyre Shopper and got a curt rely to say they only guarantee their alignment for 30 days, and that was pretty much it.
Anyone know if anything can be done? I'd rather not pay another £250 in tyres, and certainly replace them every 3 months.

For all anybody can say, you clonked the alignment out on the way home after having those new tyres fitted.

Perhaps this is a good reminder to check your tyres a bit more often than every few thousand miles? Remember, it's not only about wear. You're checking pressures and for sidewall damage, too.

That's so bad that there must be more problems than just alignment

The only possible use is to put them on the wrong way round and go to a track day!

Are there lots of speed humps near you maybe?

I once had tracking done by Kwik Fit years ago and they cocked it up so much I went from fairly decent good 4-5mm tread to canvas just starting to poke through on the inside edge in just a few hundred miles. When I went back to them apparently one track rod end was seized so they did it all adjusting the other side. Wierd part is it didn't feel particularly odd to drive.

Take it to a good local independent garage that has a "hunter" that can do a property geometry check.
