Changing mind on holiday Refund Credit Note.

We had a holiday booked and paid for to Turkey in June through Love Holidays.We decided to take the option of a Credit Note for a holiday in 2021 and clicked the link to have it Emailed to us. Since then my wife has unfortunately lost her job due to Covid and we have decided that the only option for us is a refund of our money. As we had already taken the Credit Note we were wondering if we can still  change our mind.We have tried  to contact Love Holidays but the Live Chat option is always busy "have tried multiple times of day"..

You have already accepted a credit note, so probably not possible to change it now. You can but ask.
To clarify, did LH cancel, or you?

LH cancelled.In better times we would have been happy with re-booking but really could do with the refund.

Did you take the credit not and re book or just receive the credit note??

Your Refund Credit Note and the option to exchange it for a cash refund will be valid until its stated expiry date. The expiry date is marked on the document. For refund credit notes currently being issued, this is 30 September 2021.

Any remaining value on your Refund Credit Note Code at the date of expiry will be automatically refunded to the payment method(s) on the original booking.
