It would be best to first run your circumstances through a benefits calculator, the below is a good site to make sure you are not missing out on anything. Depending on the NI you have paid you may be eligible for New Style Jobseekers Allowance.

You should be able to get a Bounce Back Loan, it just might take a while, some banks are taking new business accounts, feeder accounts etc. and some like Halifax have put a temporary block on new business accounts until they have dealt with the backlog.

Have you looked at alternative employment? There were and are other jobs out there, the tens of thousands of supermarket and contract tracing jobs have all now gone, but other companies are still recruiting, have you spent the last five months unemployed? Have you applied for jobs to try and find something, even if only temporary?

Like many other people you need to find alternative employment. Not wait for the Government to solve your personal issues.

You can apply to HSBC for a BBL, though you'll need to open a feeder a/c first. so it'll take longer. No need to have a business a/c.

If you started trading two years ago then you should be eligible for the self employment grant, but you only have a few days to get your application in.

If you have been self-employed for 2 years, why are you not eligible for anything through SEISS?

Do you complete a tax return?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Then you must have completed a tax return by 23rd April 2020, if you didn't then why?

2 years ago - July 18 - therefore you should have a tax return submitted for 18-19
However - as you potentially had employment from April to July - you could fall under the less then 50% of income from self employment - so therefore not entitled to support. Or alternatively - you may have made a loss in 18-19 - so again no support. This is the problem for all self employed - start up costs, losses etc, all included in calculating the grant.
Assuming you know you aren't entitled to the SEISS grant, then the only option is the bounce back loan - which should be available - may just have to wait a while -- (also - the BBL - can only be spent on the business - not withdrawn to cover personal expenses)
The only other is to find ways to make money from Self employment, or look for another job temporary

All of that is irrelevant for SEISS because without submitting their tax returns by April this year then they won't qualify anyway.
