Self employed/grant/mortgage application

hi im self employed,  my mortgage is due to be renewed in June, would taking the second grant go against me?

Comments

  • The grant is classed as income for tax purposes, if anything taking the grant would count in your favour.

Assuming, of course, the OP is eligible for the grant in accordance with the rules and not claimed fraudulently.  No reason to expect that to be the case.  By the time the OP goes for the mortgage renewal (I assume they mean new fixed rate), this will all be nearly a year back and the OP will have SA302 for 2020-21.
