Contact Equiniti, the registrars, although first consider whether you really want a paper certificate rather than a cheaper/better online holding:

Trouble is we don't have the 11 digit number as it has come from an asset reunification company.0

You could write to the Registrars and ask for them to send paperwork for a missing share certificate to you and they should be able to find you with your full name and address. When they write back to you they should use your Shareholder Reference Number on the correspondence.0

Why do you want a duplicate share certificate? Can they transfer it to a broker electronically?

Contact the registrar (sort out if you are ronjo or spookle) with your full name and address, any previous names/addresses, DOB and NI number and ask them to confirm the holding/send you the necessary paperwork in relation to lost share certificates. Be aware it isn't free - you need to give an indemnity which nowadays either requires a bank or similar to countersign (as counterparts to the indemnity, so you'll need to pay them), or you have to pay a premium stipulated by the company to cover the cost of insuring against misuse of the original certificate if it turns up.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!0
