Lloyds

Has anyone had issues waiting for Lloyd’s to update their credit file? I’m waiting on them updating a settled loan and card and they’re not being quick about it.

There's a bit of a bug going round at the moment, and there are delays to CRA updates.0

Lenders are having to put a lot of work into amending files to account for payment freezes etc. The system was never designed to deal with these scenarios so it is causing delays.

I'm having the same issue with Halifax. First they said they would be sending the data at the end of June, then I was told last week that they had asked for the data to be sent, today I've been told that it's just an industry wide delay and there's nothing that can be done. My Halifax cc hasn't updated on experian since May 10th and I paid off a chunk of it on May 11th so I could get a mortgage.
I understand that they are busy but all my other accounts have updated monthly throughout, it's just Halifax that hasn't.0 -
Do you need them to update a settled loan? If not, then chill out, they will get around to it.0

Any decent lender or broker will accept physical proof it’s been paid off.
Sounds like you need a better broker or speak to someone else on their lending team.0 -
