Does a 'Conservatory' need doors to the separating room?

You need to check your house insurance as well, if it's a polycarbonate roof & you get broken into it may well be voidI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
10+ years ago we had a conservatory and opted for no doors (our choice, we knew it was supposed to have doors) so the laminate floor was continuous and it looked absolutely great.
However although the summer heat was no issue to us, the cold in the winter months was terrible. We put up with it for a few years, had an oil radiator in conservatory pretty much on 24/7 but then decided to install bifold UPVC doors and it looks brilliant, I am mad at myself for putting up with the cold all those years. If we have people round or in summer then the doors fold back and I have largely the same effect as before. If the conservatory fell down tomorrow then these bifold doors are suitable as an external door which, I think, is the building control approved way to do it?
So, my experience is that it looks great but was way too cold in winter for us.
Hope this helps0 -
