Quarantine confusion - Flying from Scotland but live in England

Hey all,
I'm flying from Edinburgh on 21st and I'm a little confused over quarantine rules when returning (a month later) given we don't live in Scotland.
As it's far cheaper to fly from Scotland than my nearest airport we've always flown from Edinburgh to Crete and although both have approved quarantine free travel after the 15th, there has been a lot of confusion over Scotland.
Any one able to provide any clarity?
Thanks

Scottish authorites are not going to be crossing the border to enforce it, even if they had the manpower to.1

Is it safe to assume that flights out of Scotland would be going ahead as planned now that the FCO has allowed international flights etcbradders1983 said:Scottish authorites are not going to be crossing the border to enforce it, even if they had the manpower to.0 -
Check with your airline as to whether flights are operating from Scotland many, many have resumed, R air have published all cancellations for July and August. "Unfortunately" my flight from Prestwick flew to Portugal without my group this morning ( by choice)0

As it stands, the flights are all going ahead, but that can happen regardless of the quarantines in place when returning to the UK.Wolfie123 said:Check with your airline as to whether flights are operating from Scotland many, many have resumed, R air have published all cancellations for July and August. Just don't want any surprises on our arrival back to Scotland or when driving back to England from the airport, especially at 2am when we land
