10 years or so ago, aditional warranty was peanuts, something like £1.50 a month, you can pay yearly to save the bother of minuscule dd a month. Now the cheapest I've found was £5 a month - it does tip it over the edge of reasonableness though. I suppose maybe if you bought these fancy fridge freezers for 2 grand. But for a £550 haier? I don't think it's worth it.

another_casualty said:When I moved into my present flat 3 years ago, I purchased a new fridge freezer and washer dryer. Of course I got the leaflets with the instructions advising me to register for extended guarantee . The fridge freezer is Hotpoint , washer dryer is Beko. The company who maintain both , is Domestic and General .
I was thinking about taking out warranty .Thankfully , the good posters here advised me not to .Crossing fingers as I'm posting this tho 😼🤞Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
