Vuelling refund

Hello, I have requested a refund for my cancelled flights a week ago (£730’s worth) and I haven’t heard anything back or had any money refunded. I have called Vuelling and been told it can be up to 8 weeks to be refunded. Is this right? X

8 weeks could be about right....I have waited 12 weeks so far with Lufthansa...had an email this week saying they will process in the next 6-8 weeks. Virgin are quoting 4 months.0

The law entitles you to a refund within 7 days.
But Caz is right, most airlines are no-where near that due to backlogs and the colossal amount of refunds to process.0
