No job description

I was moved into a new job about three years ago by my boss’s boss but never given a new contract or job description. My old job was filled by someone else. I’m now facing redundancy. Can I claim unfair dismissal as I’ve never had a contract for the job?

You have a contract, but apparently not a written one
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

Were you given anything in writing when you started with the company?

Do you have any reason to think that your being selected for redundancy would be unfair?
