Does anyone know how long it takes for money to be credited back to your account once you have received an email saying how much the refund should be for? We booked in store so I know it takes longer than if we had booked online.
I received an email on Thursday and my husband received a phone call on Friday but wasn't sure if it was a scam. We've tried ringing the customer service number and the number they called him on but can't get through.
I know some stores are opening next week but none are close to us.
Should the money just go into our account automatically or is there something else we need to do?

Hi, just wanted to say a very big thank you to MSE for your good advice. We booked in store in January for a holiday in Corfu starting May 1st. with TUI. Since April we have been phoning them and emailing them to no avail. We read your advice about phoning the number you gave, in the afternoon when they are not so busy. We spoke to them on 1st July, they phoned us back on 2nd July and the money was back in our bank account on 6th July ! What a relief! Sue from Warrington.0

If you booked in a TUI Store, you can call between 9am and 5.30pm from Monday to Friday. If you booked online or on the TUI or First Choice App, you can call between 9am and 7pm from Monday to Friday.

I sent my TUI refund voucher over a month ago. They acknowledged receipt and was advised of payment within 28 days. I've tried phoning and have waited several times for up to an hour before giving up. I can't seem to find an email address for them to discuss the situation. Can anyone help with that?0
