recover photos from Factory reset Iphone

Is there a way of recovering  photos from Factory reset Iphone preferable for Free .

its a iphone 6 , i didnt use icloud/itunes at the time so need a bit of software

As above, sorry. Either they have been backed up somewhere else or they are gone.

Not a chance. If you didn't use some form of cloud backup such as icloud or Google drive then you have lost them for good.

A factory reset puts it back to how it was when you first got it and switched it on.

As above, the chances are very slim unless you had backups on iTunes or on a different device. It would have wiped all data once reset.
