Is there a way of recovering photos from Factory reset Iphone preferable for Free .
its a iphone 6 , i didnt use icloud/itunes at the time so need a bit of software

Not a chance. If you didn't use some form of cloud backup such as icloud or Google drive then you have lost them for good.
A factory reset puts it back to how it was when you first got it and switched it on.0 -
As above, the chances are very slim unless you had backups on iTunes or on a different device. It would have wiped all data once reset.0
