Should I accept any job?

1) how and when should I update them (I don't have another phone appointment booked). Should I wait till September when the job starts?2) previously when working I was claiming working tax and child tax credits. Now I'm on UC will I still get the equivalent of this within the monthly UC payment?
3) the job is for 19 hours a week, will I still have to find another job to make it up to 25 hours (son is 11)?
4) Will UC top up a low salary and will there be any commitments required from me?
4) will I still need to look for a job over the summer hols to be able to still claim UC? Finding a job during the summer will be tricky because I have no childcare.
2) UC includes child elements for relevant children. UC does not contain any extra elements as a result of being in work.
3) Possibly, to be agreed with work coach. However it also depends on how much you are being paid. If you are being paid more than minimum wage you may have met your target already. If you earn more than £341/month you will be in the light touch regime https://www.uceplus.co.uk/light-touch-regime.html
4) Your maximum UC entitlement remains unchanged. The amount payable will be reduced by the earnings. The first £292 of earnings is ignored if your claim includes help with rent, if not the first £512 is ignored. Above this there is a deduction of 63% of the earnings. More info https://www.understandinguniversalcredit.gov.uk/new-to-universal-credit/how-much-youll-get/
5) Will your pay be term time only or will your pay be spread across the full year? That may make a difference.

Thank you.
I'll be earning about £600 a month and yes it will be 12 equal monthly payments. Does that mean I won't have to continue to job search?0 -

Hi op, you’ll need to record a change of circs through your uc account, but you’ll need to wait til you start the job. In regards to your other queries - talk to your work coach as lots has changed with covid etc.Congrats & hope the job goes marvellously for you :-)Please be nice to all moneysavers!
